Vavarious (“we”, “us”) is a company registered in England & Wales. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).
What we collect
We keep it deliberately minimal:
- Contact form. When you send us an enquiry we collect your name, email address, business name and your message. We use these solely to respond to you.
- Server logs. Our web server records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and to keep the site running. Logs are retained for a short period and then deleted.
We do not run third-party analytics, advertising trackers or social media pixels on this site.
Cookies
The site sets only strictly necessary cookies — a security token used to protect the contact form from abuse. No marketing or analytics cookies are set, which is why you don't see a cookie banner.
Why we process your data
Our legal bases are: legitimate interests (responding to enquiries you initiate, keeping the site secure) and, where an enquiry leads to work together, steps taken to enter a contract.
How long we keep it
Contact enquiries are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. If you become a client, relevant information is kept for the duration of our engagement and as required by law (for example, accounting records).
Who we share it with
We don't sell or rent your data. Enquiry data is stored on our own infrastructure and is accessible only to the people who need it to respond to you. We may disclose data where required by law.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, contact us and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
